Industrial cleaning

Makingclean, clean.

Industrial resin cleaning, UV ink removal, paint and coating clean-up, and reducing reliance on conventional solvent washes all depend on the same question: does the chemistry work for your process?

blent develops water-based formulations for demanding industrial cleaning requirements. We help teams assess potential alternatives to established solvent-based cleaning, including acetone-led processes, through application-specific evaluation.

Start with the job to be done.

There is no meaningful cleaning recommendation without understanding the application. The contamination, surface, equipment, process, working conditions and required result all shape what a suitable solution looks like.

What needs removing?

Describe the residue, soil or contamination and how it builds up.

What are we cleaning?

Share the surfaces, equipment and material compatibility considerations.

How does the process run?

Tell us about temperature, contact time, agitation, rinsing and other relevant conditions.

What matters operationally?

Explain any quality, handling, throughput, maintenance or site-specific requirements.

Cleaning challenges, by
material and process.

A resin remover for tools is not necessarily appropriate for an ink press, and a production tank cleaning process is not the same as a parts washer. We approach each application on its own terms.

Resins

Epoxy resin, polyester resin, gelcoats, polyurethane and other polymer residues can present very different cleaning conditions. The cure state matters.

Acetone and solvent wash replacement

Looking to move away from acetone, MEK, toluene or another solvent? A successful switch depends on cleaning performance, contact time, compatible materials, residue behaviour, handling requirements and total cost in use.

Explore alternatives

UV inks and printing

Press wash-up and equipment cleaning require attention to ink chemistry and compatible machine components.

Paints and coatings

Changeover, tooling and equipment cleaning have different requirements for uncured paint, cured deposits and coating components.

Tough residues

For carbonaceous deposits and stubborn industrial build-up, the right method may involve temperature, mechanical action, dwell time and the specific substrate.

Explore difficult residues

Searching for a green solvent? blent's starting point is a water-based cleaning formulation, which is not automatically the same thing as a solvent replacement suited to every process. We evaluate compatibility and performance before recommending change.

Performance without
the assumptions.

Our work begins with high-performance, water-based formulations. Rather than asking you to change your process on a promise, we examine the technical fit and establish how the chemistry performs against agreed requirements. Where needed, we can explore process adjustments as part of a managed evaluation.

Formulation availability, suitability and technical characteristics vary by product and application. Request the relevant documentation before use.

FRE-1X water-based industrial cleaner

Built for industrial decision-makers.

We speak to the people responsible for making industrial cleaning work in practice—from operations and engineering to procurement, EHS and technical teams. Each brings a different perspective, and a useful evaluation has to account for them all.

Operations

Does it work within the real process?

Engineering and technical

Does performance meet the defined specification?

Health, safety and environment

What do the relevant hazard, handling and exposure assessments show?

Procurement

Can this work commercially and reliably at the required scale?

Test first.
