Evaluate blent
Test the chemistry.See what it can do.
Considering a switch from acetone-based cleaning, testing a resin cleaning formulation or reviewing UV ink wash-up? Our managed pilots turn a specific industrial cleaning challenge into a question we can evaluate together. A pilot determines fit; it does not assume it.
Pilot programme
Be the first to eliminate hazardous cleaning
from your operation entirely.
A small number of manufacturers will prove this out with us this year. We're looking for them now.
We learn your process, your products, your hardest cleaning challenge. We test blent against it in our lab and share every result. Then we come to you — on the floor, in real conditions. We work through it with you until it works. We don't declare victory until you do.
- 01Kick offWe learn your operation, your products, your cleaning challenges.
- 02Product testingYou send us your product. We test blent against it in our lab and share every result.
- 03TrialWe come to you. Real conditions, real surfaces, full support.
- 04Roll outWe're with you through every step of implementation.
Founding partners get locked-in pricing, direct access to Emily and Chris, and a sustainability credential that actually means something — because they were there when it was still being proved.
A practical route from
interest to evidence.
A blent pilot is a structured evaluation designed around an agreed application. The aim is to understand the conditions, assess relevant performance and establish whether there is a credible basis to progress. It is not a generic sample programme or a guarantee of suitability.
Specific application. Agreed criteria. Shared evidence. Clear next steps.
How a pilot works.
- 01Understand the applicationWe discuss the material or equipment, the cleaning challenge, the existing process, technical constraints and what a successful result would mean.Output: Application brief and initial fit assessment.
- 02Design the evaluationWe agree which variables matter, the comparison or baseline where relevant, the test method and the criteria for reviewing results.Output: Proposed test scope and evaluation criteria.
- 03Run the agreed testsblent coordinates the evaluation appropriate to the opportunity, subject to technical feasibility, safety requirements and agreed arrangements.Output: Relevant observations and test data, where available.
- 04Review the evidenceWe discuss the results, limitations and whether follow-up testing is needed. A promising result in one condition should not be assumed to apply everywhere.Output: Findings review and agreed next-step recommendation.
- 05Consider adoptionIf the results support it, we explore the operational, commercial and supply considerations for progressing.Output: Next-stage discussion, not an automatic purchase commitment.
Is your application
a good fit?
We welcome enquiries from teams with a defined industrial cleaning challenge and an appetite for a structured technical discussion. The most useful starting point is a clear understanding of the current process and the result you're trying to achieve.
Not every application will be suitable for evaluation. We review each enquiry before proposing a pilot.
Good information to share
- Resin, ink, paint, carbon or other residue
- Whether it is fresh, uncured, partly cured or fully cured
- Current solvent/cleaner (for example, acetone or MEK)
- Substrate and equipment
- Temperature, dwell time and agitation
- Cleaning quality requirements
- Safety information
- Volumes, waste costs and desired scale
What success
could look like.
The evaluation criteria depend on the application. They may include cleaning effectiveness, material compatibility, process requirements, relevant handling considerations and the practicality of using the formulation in context. Any specific environmental, cost or operational benefit must be calculated and evidenced separately.
We don't substitute a promising laboratory observation for a claim about full-scale deployment.
What happens before
testing starts?
We'll confirm the appropriate scope, responsibilities, data-sharing expectations, sample arrangements if relevant, site requirements and any commercial terms before a pilot proceeds. Some projects may require confidentiality arrangements or further feasibility work.
FAQ
Is a pilot free?
Pilot arrangements are discussed individually. We will confirm any applicable cost before work begins.
Can I order a sample directly?
Not through this website. We first review the application and agree the appropriate next step.
How long does it take?
Timing depends on the application, test scope, access to materials and technical requirements. We'll discuss the expected process once we've reviewed your enquiry.
Will results be public?
No customer-specific results are published without the appropriate permissions and review.
Give us a challenge
worth testing.
Tell us what you need to clean and how your process works. We'll review the information and follow up on whether a managed evaluation makes sense.
Think your product is too tough to clean without hazardous chemistry? Send it to us. We'll test blent against it in our lab and share the full results. No obligation. No spin.
