Difficult deposits

Tough residue. A defined cleaning challenge.

Baked-on carbon and long-standing industrial build-up can be difficult to remove without affecting the equipment beneath. The type of deposit, substrate and available cleaning method determine what is practical.

Understand the deposit before choosing the chemistry.

Carbonaceous residues vary with the manufacturing process, operating temperature, contamination and time in service. Some deposits may require heat, agitation, mechanical work or a different technology. We don't treat a broad description like industrial grime as a technical specification.

What we would need to know.

Where the build-up occurs; the likely residue composition; equipment material; operating constraints; existing mechanical or chemical method; required outcome; and any prohibition on temperature, rinsing or downtime.

Is water-based cleaning worth testing?

That depends on the specific deposit and available evidence. blent can review a defined problem, and if there is a technically plausible route, discuss a structured evaluation.
